Darebin Aboriginal Reconciliation Healing Walk (Social Inclusion)
Perform a big Mitzvah – by going for a walk… with Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal people experiencing Spiritual Healing together!
The late Uncle Reg Blow loved participating in Jewish and other Multifaith events, and developed this Healing Trail for us to all benefit…
Spiritual Healing Trail – Darebin Parklands Walking Together Again
In 2012 the late Aboriginal Elder Uncle Reg Blow led a group of people from all ages and backgrounds along the Spiritual Healing Trail. People described the experience as “deeply moving” and which helped them to understand Aboriginal connection to country and spirituality.
To honour the memory of Uncle Reg, residents of all ages, abilities and backgrounds are again invited to come together and walk the Spiritual Healing Trail led by uncle Reg’s son, Troy Blow.
A gift from the Aboriginal community as a gesture of Reconciliation, the Spiritual Healing Trail aims to promote good health by improving our emotional and spiritual well-being and our sense of being connected to the land, to others, and to ourselves. Refreshments, supper and entertainment will also be provided.
