IMPACT for Women together with KOGO (Knit One Give One) and JECO (Jewish Ecological Coalition) – Make and Share

Let’s have some fun recycling pre-loved t-shirts to create fabulous, fashionable and funky fringe or infinity scarves to distribute to Victorian women living in crisis accommodation due to domestic violence.

Or, if you prefer, come and make some knitted toys for their children!

All materials will be supplied but if you can bring washed and ironed t-shirts (preferably large or extra-large in any colour – printed, patterned or plain) and sharp scissors, that would be fabulous but not mandatory.
Unless you want to make a knitted toy, no sewing, knitting or any other craft skills are required other than the ability to cut lines that are approximately straight.

This activity is suitable for men, women and children aged 7 to 107!

Pop in for an hour or more anytime between 11am and 4pm.
