WIZO MASSADA (Collectathon)

Magic Moments Melbourne Basket Brigade is an organisation run by volunteers.  The concept of this organisation is to “help those in need in our community with a basket of food and toys at Christmas time and deliver them annonymously asking only that they take care of themselves well enough so one day they can do the same for someone else”.  The Brigade is an opportunity for people to donate, help on packing day pack baskets and wrap gifts and deliver them to families.  A few of the organisations associated with the Brigade are ARDOC, Lighthouse Foundation, Very Sprecial Kids and Prahran Mission are a few named.  The baskets are given to people from all walks of life, religions, racial backgrounds who need that “extra boost”.

WIZO MASSADA has chosen to collect brand new toys and books for children aged between 0-14 years to be packed in the baskets.  If you would like to partake with donations and/or packing of the hampers, please contact Jenny on 0412 041 036 for further information.
