Habonim DrorFun DayYesYom Habo 2024
Yom Habo is a beautiful opportunity for our Jewish community to come together, reconnect and celebrate the rich and meaningful legacy of Habonim Dror. Over the years, Habonim Dror has played a significant role in shaping who we are as individuals and as a community, building strong bonds rooted in shared values, culture and history. Yom Habo is more than just a birthday celebration, it’s a reminder of the journey we’ve all taken together and the memories we’ve created along the way.

There’s no better way to celebrate Habo's 84th birthday than by gathering with everyone. Together, we’ll reflect on the past, appreciate the present and look forward to all the incredible moments ahead. It’s moments like these that remind us how powerful and unique our community truly is.

One of our students has collected over 600 books for the Sammy Foundation to be donated to the Indigenous community. Below is a quote from Sammy about his passion for this project.
“I started the Sammy Foundation because I got inspired by the book Ms Fester read about Malala Yousafzai. I wanted to make an impact like Malala and am hoping to do that by giving books to Indigenous children who don't have books. Thank you to the whole MSC community for giving all the books and a special thanks to Year 3 and Miss Cleminson for helping me organise everything. I'm super excited that we collected 661 books! Thank you for supporting me” Sammy Nickig
