Chabad Sparks Food Rescue Yes The kids will pack products collected earlier in the day by our Teens for food rescue. They will also make/write accompanying cards for recipients.

Emmy Monash Aged Care Sunshine for Seniors Yes So many of our seniors have given of themselves in the past or still currently do: as carers of spouses, children, grandchildren and friends, as volunteers, as donors. For these special people, we are providing a wonderful afternoon’s entertainment “A Touch of Old Time Music Hall”, singing to old favourites with Kaye Harrison, professional singer followed by afternoon tea.

IMPACT for Women together with KOGO and JECO Make and Share Yes Let's have some fun recycling pre-loved t-shirts to create fabulous, fashionable and funky fringe or infinity scarves to distribute to Victorian women living in crisis accommodation due to domestic violence.
Pop in for an hour or more anytime between 11am and 4pm.

Jewish Religious Action and Advovacy Centre and Kedem (synagogue) Collectathon Yes JRAAC is collecting goods for the Asylum Seeker Resource Centre. Things you can donate include non-perishable foods, toilletries, blankets, linnen and baby items. We will be collecting goods from 9am-1pm on 25th November and there will also be donation boxes placed at the King David School Magid Institute in the week leading up to Mitzvah Day. JRAAC members will then deliver these goods to the ASRC stoage facility in West Melbourne.

Kehilat Nitzan Space Makeover Yes Kehilat Nitzan members (including B'nei Mitzvah children and Noam youth) are going to do a "working bee" at the Access shop/garden. We are going to clean the kitchen and shop front windows, reorganise their kitchen cupboards, clean the cool room, weed and clean up the garden, paint the back fence, put up trellis, clean the walls and any other odd jobs that are required.

Kids Giving Back Cook for Good On 18th November, Kids Giving Back and Our Big Kitchen (OBK) are pleased to present COOK FOR GOOD - a volunteer program for Bar and Batmitzvah students and parents.
COOK FOR GOOD participants will cook a total of approximately 120 nutritious meals consisting of several courses that participants will then deliver to designated needy recipients.

The students are being given the opportunity to learn about the different organisations, their cause and then help raise money for the organisation based on the amount of time they walk. Leo Baeck Centre for Progressive Judaism Collectathon Yes For several years the Leo Baeck Centre has each week collected grocery items which we then contribute to the Asylum Seeker Resource Centre. For Mitzvah Day we are asking our members to contribute a new toy as well for children of preschool or primary school age. Donations can be made over the weekend or during the following week.

Liron Choir Other No The Liron Choir will sing at the Jewish Care Munzer Commuity Residence, 52 Northcote Ave in Caulfield at 1pm. ZOOZ Israeli Dancing Sunshine for Seniors Yes A group of about 12-15 of my dancers will be performing for the elderly residents of The Armitage, Assisted Care Residence, Dandenong Rd. Windsor.
