Gift of Life AustraliaBlood BankYesGift of Life raises awareness (not funds) of the life saving possibilities of the 18-45 year olds in the Jewish community to be tested to ascertain if they are found to be blood matches to save the lives of leukaemia and other blood cancer patients for whom sadly a family match has not be found. If they are a match they can (chance is 1 in 10,000) donate their blood stem cells and save a life!

The greatest Mitzvah of all. Testing will take place in OUR BIG KITCHEN - OBK located at 36 Flood Street, Bondi on MITZVAH DAY Sunday 27 November 2.30-5.30pm.

Call Shula for any queries on 0414 780 444. More information on Gift of Life Australia visit http://www.giftoflifeaustralia.org.au.

Perth Kids Can & Shelley KotkisMake and ShareYesWe will be collecting bags to support the campaign detailed below:

The "It's in the Bag" Christmas campaign idea came to us when we realised that we seem to manage the needs of children at Christmas, ensuring they're cared for and made to feel special, but the same can't always be said for those women who put the needs of others before their own. We wanted to make them feel special.

And so the campaign began - we asked Australians to donate a handbag they no longer used, fill it with items that would make a woman feel special and even pop a thoughtful note into the bag to show her that someone cares and that she matters.
