We would appreciate - small notebooks, pens, textas, sunhats, playing cards, UNO, small board games, stickers, small knick knacks (particularly for boys) to go in a show bag. Basic toiletries - toothbrush, toothpaste, brush/comb, deodorant & spare underwear.
Southern Metropolitan Cemeteries TrustSouthern Metropolitan Cemeteries TrustWorking BeeThe Southern Metropolitan Cemeteries Trust would like to openly invite the Jewish community to attend a working bee at Brighton General Cemetery to attend and clean the Jewish areas. The Brighton Cemetery has over 120 years of history and is the final resting place for some of Melbourne's most iconic and influential leaders, such as Sir John Monash.

This is a great opportunity to improve the look and cleanliness of loved ones who have passed. By giving back to those who could never return the favour is the most humble of acts and is the highest sign of respect and gratitude.

Note:
* Equipment will be supplied.
* Cleaning will only apply to general areas and not to specific graves as consent must be given by the holder of right.
Share the Dignitywww.sharethedignity.com.auCollectathonShare the Dignity is an organization that assist with the collection and distribution of Sanitary items for homeless women and women who are displaced due to domestic violence or other hardships. We would greatly appreciate the assistance of a group of people collecting on our behalf, sanitary items such as pads, tampons, flushable wipes and toiletries to assist during times of need. All items collected are then distributed to organizations that can get these products directly to the hands of women who need them. We are happy to assist with sending through flyers for placement on collection buckets, bins, or baskets of your choice!
